Website Design, by Brett Roby Creative Design
At BRCD, we offer web design and support for small and large businesses, from local mom and pop stores to large corporations anywhere around the world. If you've never had a website before, or if you've had the "same old thing" as your website for many years and it's outdated, then you've definitely landed at the right place! BRCD brings modern aesthetics and mobile sensiblities to web design, with mobile internet browsing as a main focus. Our latest designs feature WordPress themes for ultimate modularity and support. WordPress websites are also great because BRCD can design them for you, teach you how to update the site on your own, and then you can be on your way with future changes to your website! With modern designs like these, there's no longer a need for your business to be hamstrung by a "web guy" to make the changes you need -- you can update and change the site on your very own with a little bit of practice.
Are you interested in selling merchandise or services online? BRCD is an official partner of Shopify and Volusion, the leaders in web-based storefront software. Ask us how we can help expand your brick and mortar store into a worldwide online shop!
Sant Cruz Television
Overhauled from a simple and older style HTML and CSS "tabled" design, Santa Cruz Television's website has been overhauled and built on a WordPress framework. Featuring modern styling that looks good on any browser, one of SCTV's greatest attributes is its responsiveness – it looks great on your desktop computer, iPad, and iPhone! BRCD took the logo it created for SCTV (seen here) and built the site around this updated insignia. Have a look at the SCTV website today!
Nisene Technology Group, Inc.
Capitola-Soquel Little League
Majorly fun website design that serves as an information hub for the league, but also has a really cool "scoreboard" theme. Definitely one of the more fun website design gigs ever completed by BRCD. Have some fun over at CSLL today!
BRCD recently added online storefront software capabilities for the CSLL website. Included in this upgrade was the integration of the items sold by the snack bar (colloquially called the "Snack Shack") by way of advanced point-of-sale system. No longer stuck in the dinosaur age, CSLL now accepts credit cards, chip cards, Apple Pay, and of course cash. Pricing for all items is managed in the cloud, such that the register operators never need to know what to charge for the things they're selling – the prices just appear and can be adjusted on the fly by an offsite admin. Further, itemization, totaling, and change due for the order are managed and calculated automatically by simple user interface on iPads. These great features are a welcome change to the Snack Shack, as this facility is run by volunteers at a very high turnover rate. There's little time for training, and the volunteers may only work a shift or two per season, so it has to be easy – and it is!
The Furnace Room
A local heating and air conditioning retailer and service provider that was looking to perform a massive overhaul of a very outdated website, The Furnace Room website features many convenient elements for quick access to product and — perhaps more importantly — contact information for those heating and air conditioning emergencies!
The Furnace Room, Inc.'s website is based off of a WordPress theme and has many neat features, including awesome photo sliders and powerful SEO that has increased their Google search rank immensely.
Max Muscle Santa Cruz
The very first website design job ever done by BRCD. Still a modern and useful website, the folks at MMSC went from having no internet presence to having multiple websites and a number of online retail stores within a matter of a few years. All started by the BRCD Bump!
The Max Muscle Santa Cruz website is being overhauled with a more modern look and will soon have WordPress as its backbone.
Kitchens and Baths by Design
Referral client from a previous Flash design customer. David Skomsvold — a local kitchen and bathroom designer — had no website and absolutely zero internet presence when he first met up with BRCD. We brought him into the second millennium with a clean and understated classy design featuring some custom videos, a Flash header, and few other nice touches. Kitchens and Baths by Design website can be viewed by clicking on the link.
A from-the-ground-up design job by BRCD, we took this small startup from nothing to fully developed brand: logo design, website design, marketing material design, product design. Have a look at D1 Fundraising's website when you can.
Buy Goddesswear Online
Goddesswear is a brand of women's workout wear sold by Max Muscle Santa Cruz, clients of BRCD. This site is also an online store with hundreds of products available for purchase by using any major credit card. On the Buy Goddesswear Online website, we have implemented several handy and modern tools like a shopping cart, user login capability, repeat ordering, and more!
Judy's Sewing Center
Judy's Sewing Center is one of our clients that brought on BRCD to get them started in the online world. With only an old business card to use as reference, a complete website and branding scheme was developed for Judy's. Check out Judy's and see for yourself.
Shop Max Muscle Santa Cruz
Like the Goddesswear site above, the MMSC Shop is owned by Max Muscle Santa Cruz and managed by BRCD. All of the same functionality attributes as the Goddesswear site can be found on the Shop MMSC site. This site also features private categories so that customers with certain admin-defined privileges can access specific sections of the site.
FrontLine Nutrition is also owned by MMSC, and is a similar website to the Shop MMSC site above. This one is tailored toward a different client base, and as such its products are different.
Wild Iris Discovery
Electrical engineer Glen Reuschling and wife Paula, a teacher, were looking for a quick and easy website that had a futuristic look and served as an access point for their clients to contact them. It also serves as an information hub. The Wild Iris Discovery website can be found here.
Durabom Ceramic Coating
Durabom Ceramic Coating is a similar client to D1 Fundraising in that we worked with them from the inception of the business and took them from zero to full-fledged brand over the course of a summer. Initial logo design, website creation, and marketing material are just a few things BRCD offers for Durabom Ceramic Coating.
